Did you know you can actually *feel* your fertility? Cervical mucus sensation is one of the most intriguing parts of fertility awareness to me, and also one of my favorite to explore. *omw to tell my husband how to center me in the frame for my silly little videos 🙄🤣 But seriously, I’m omw to becoming a certified Ferility awareness educator and I cannot emphasize enough how excited and grateful I am to hold this information. Fertility awareness opens the door to so much more than just natural birth control. Understanding your cycle beyond an app or guessing allows for a deeper connection to your body outside reproduction. You might find: increased confidence from knowing exactly where you are in your cycle stress-free intimacy from *knowing* whether you’re fertile or not and a better understanding of your needs as a cyclically woman To name a few. What are some of the things you want to shout from the roof tops that you’ve gained from Fertility awareness? I’d love to know. Or if you’re curious about whether a FAM journey can help answer a specific question you have, reach out. This is literally my favorite topic. All of it! #girltalk #fertilityawareness

💫September Body Lit recap from your favorite PA-C and Fertility awareness educator Following my first Read Your Body workshop it’s only right that I show you how to read a real FAM chart Let’s go through it together ➡️ First, fertility awareness is the practice of charting your real-time biomarkers to identify fertile and infertile times. The primary biomarkers that we chart are bleeding, cervical mucus, and BBT. There are more that can be added based on your preferences! 🩸 Bleeding- we chart level of bleeding with different level boxes. Heavy, medium, light, and spotting. 💦 Cervical mucus - our primary fertility sign! We chart any mucus experienced through sensation or visualization Grey boxes indicate no mucus seen or felt Blue boxes mean cervical mucus has entered the chat We then chart what we see or feel in our own words + determine if the mucus has highly fertile qualities Some Highly fertile qualities include clear or stringy mucus or lubricative sensation to name a few 🌡️ BBT - we chart basal body temps with the goal of catching a temp shift A temp shift cross checked with cervical mucus allows you to confirm ovulation and close the fertile window 💃🏽 Then voila! You have a whole FAM chart that tells you whether you are fertile or not! No app predictions, no guessing. It’s YOUR cycle and fertility signs charted in real time. Most people use a FAM chart for natural birth control. But charting can also inform you about your overall cycle health and help you get more connected with your cycle.
